AI Powerhouse Metaforms Raises $9M Series A funding

Metaforms has raised $9 million in Series A funding led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners and Together Fund.

Founded by Akshat Tyagi and Arjun S in 2022, Bengaluru, India, Metaforms is building AI agents that streamline key workflows for market research agencies, helping them scale efficiently and reduce turnaround times.

The fresh capital will be used to support Metaforms’ rapid growth in India with plans to triple its engineering and AI research teams. The company will also expand into new workflows, such as report generation and voice-based research, and enhance integrations with platforms like Decipher, SPSS, and Confirmit.

• Since going commercial, Metaforms has onboarded four of the top 20 global research agencies, including Strat7.
• The company currently processes over 1,000 surveys each month and has set a long-term goal of handling more than 100,000 surveys annually.
