Armatrix has raised $2.1M (~₹17 Cr) in a Pre-Seed round led by pi Ventures.
Founded in 2024 by IIT Kanpur grads Vishrant Dave, Prateesh Awasthi & Ayush Ranjan, they're building flexible robotic arms that slither into places humans can’t reach.
The tech:
→ 3–5 metre robotic arms
→ 22+ degrees of freedom
→ One of only 4 companies globally building this
→ The only one from India 🇮🇳
But here’s the real insight:
The robot is the wedge. The data is the real business.
Because the company that owns the robots also owns the inspection data layer. And that data compounds.

Do you think robotics will produce India’s next deep-tech unicorn? 👇
