AgniKul Cosmos has raised $26.7M (~₹220 Cr) in a Series B round led by Celesta Capital and Mayfield India

Founded in 2017 by Srinath Ravichandran and Moin SPM, the Chennai-based startup is building small satellite launch vehicles designed for rapid and affordable space launches.

The funds will be used to scale rocket production and expand launch capabilities from its private launchpad at Sriharikota.

Key highlights:

  • Agnilet Engine: India's first (and the world's first) 3D-printed, single-piece rocket engine.

Dhanush Launchpad: Operates India's first private launchpad and mission control center at Sriharikota.

Mobile Infrastructure: Unlike traditional giants, Agnikul is building mobile launchpads for truly on-demand space access.

Why This Matters 💡

India is transitioning from a consumer of space data to a provider of global launch infrastructure. Startups like Agnikul are proving that 3D printing and modularity can slash the cost of reaching orbit.
