Chennai-based composite manufacturing startup Fabheads has raised $10 million in a mix of equity and venture debt, led by Accel with participation from Trifecta Capital, which contributed Rs 20 crore ($2.3M) in venture debt. This takes the startup’s total funding to $13 million.
The fresh funds will help Fabheads:
→ Expand manufacturing with a new 100,000 sq ft facility in Bengaluru’s Aerospace Park
→ Grow its leadership and client support teams
→ Accelerate R&D for automated composite fabrication
“Composite fabrication is highly manual and time-intensive. Our automated process delivers reliability, speed, and global-scale quality,” said Dhinesh Kanagaraj, Co-founder of Fabheads.
The new facility will house 70+ machines and is expected to be operational in six months.
Clients include industry leaders like Tata, ISRO, and Motherson Group, with Fabheads serving high-growth sectors such as drones, robotics, and marine.
Backed by ex-ISRO engineers, Fabheads is positioning India as a global leader in next-gen materials and manufacturing automation.
