FlexiLoans, a digital NBFC focused on MSME financing, has raised ₹375 Cr in Series C funding, led by returning investors Fundamentum, Accion Digital Transformation Fund, Nuveen, a TIAA company, and Maj Invest, with new participation from British International Investment (BII) — the UK’s development finance institution.
The round includes both primary capital to scale operations and secondary liquidity for early investors.
Founded in 2016 by Deepak Jain, Ritesh Jain, and Manish Lunia, FlexiLoans is tackling one of India's most pressing financial gaps — lack of working capital access for small businesses, especially in Tier II & III cities where traditional lending often falls short due to collateral constraints and informal credit histories.
FlexiLoans by the numbers:
> ₹10,000 Cr+ disbursed across 2,100+ towns & cities
> ₹2,300 Cr+ AUM, serving 50,000+ MSMEs
> 1.7 lakh+ loans, with 66% going to non-metro regions
> 83% CAGR between FY22 and FY25
The platform offers term loans (₹2–25L) and supply chain financing (₹25L–₹10Cr) using its proprietary tech stack and partnerships with 25+ financial institutions.
“We're proud to back FlexiLoans as they deepen access to capital for India’s underserved businesses. Digital-first MSME lending is foundational to inclusive growth,” said Srini Nagarajan, MD & Head of Asia at BII.
This funding marks a major step forward in FlexiLoans’ mission to empower small enterprises, drive financial inclusion, and build credit rails for Bharat.
