Med-tech startup Innovodigm, spun out of IIT Kharagpur’s Microelectronics and MEMS Lab, has raised ₹5.5 crore in a seed round led by IAN Group (formerly Indian Angel Network) (₹4.5 Cr) and PadUp Ventures.
The funds will be used to:
- Scale infrastructure
- Strengthen the team
- Prepare for preclinical testing and clinical trials
Innovodigm’s core innovation is a Micro-Array Patch (MAP) platform, a painless, needle-free vaccine delivery method using thermostabilized patches that stay effective for 120 days at 40°C, eliminating cold chain dependency and expanding access to rural and underserved regions.
The patches aim to replace injections for vaccines like measles, hepatitis, flu, and COVID-19 boosters, while also reducing medical waste and improving safety.
Innovodigm’s MAP tech was recently named one of the Top 2 Nano Electronics Technologies of 2025 by MeitY.
