Leumas, a deeptech manufacturing startup, has raised $2.2 million in seed funding led by Capital 2B (backed by Info Edge Ventures and Temasek), with participation from Capital-A and Anicut Capital.
Founded by Subhajit Biswas and Nitesh K., Leumas is reimagining manufacturing for wellness and pharma brands through modular, software-driven, cyber-physical factories that function like scalable tech stacks agile, intelligent, and fully compliant.
The funding will be used to:
> Expand the R&D team
> Launch pilot modular factories
> Grow on-demand manufacturing infrastructure across India and global markets
What makes Leumas different:
> AI-powered robotic assembly lines
> Vision-based quality checks & autonomous operations
> Factory-as-a-Service (FaaS) for faster go-to-market and reduced CapEx
> Already scaled 120+ products across India, the US, and MENA
“Today’s brands don’t just need capacity. They need agility, traceability, and scale without legacy infrastructure,” say the founders. Leumas’ cyber-physical model delivers just that, blending automation with cloud-like flexibility for manufacturing.
Backers call it a “fundamental reimagining of factory operations”, one that’s especially timely in pharma and wellness, where speed, compliance, and distributed scaling are mission-critical.
