Electric two-wheeler company Okinawa Autotech has secured ₹60 crore (~$7M) in fresh funding from its existing backer, Dhruv Khush Business Ventures.

At a time when the company is battling declining revenues and shrinking market share, this infusion signals investor confidence in Okinawa’s ability to course correct and innovate.

The funding will be used to:

Enhance product innovation and quality

Regain lost ground in the EV two-wheeler market

Sharpen operational execution

While Okinawa’s current EV market share sits at 0.23%, the company has previously launched 8 models and holds deep industry experience. This raise is an opportunity to reimagine its next chapter in a fiercely competitive sector.

Founded in 2015 by Jeetender Sharma and Dr Rupali Sharma, Okinawa is now preparing to recalibrate, compete, and climb back into relevance.
