PowerUp Money, a tech-first wealth advisory platform, has raised $7.1M in its first major institutional funding round led by Accel, with participation from Blume Ventures, Kae Capital, 8i Ventures, and DeVC.
Founded in 2023 by Prateek Jindal (ex-Uni Card cofounder), PowerUp is building a modern wealthtech platform that goes beyond transactions delivering free, high-quality mutual fund advisory, portfolio reviews, and personalized financial insights through a clean, RIA-licensed product.
The funding will be used to:
> Deepen investment research and advisory automation
> Expand the product suite with new tools and features
> Grow customer acquisition and engagement at scale
What makes PowerUp different:
> Direct mutual fund investing, guided by smart, timely research
> A free advisory model for every investor
> Paid plans for advanced features and quarterly portfolio reviews
A mission to solve for the “what next?” after SIPs and one-time investments
“The real wealthtech opportunity is advisory at scale — for India’s expanding base of new investors,” said Prayank Swaroop Partner at Accel.
“PowerUp’s product focus, user-first design, and clear RIA model position it to lead this next wave,” added Ashish Fafadia, Partner at Blume Ventures.
PowerUp is on a mission to turn passive investors into confident wealth builders with tech that’s simple, unbiased, and built to scale.
