Shortgun Games Lands $1M Seed Funding

Shortgun has raised $1 million in Seed funding led by angel investors.

Founded by Vidhit Mehta and Jeet Chandan in 2021, India, Shortgun is building India’s first genre-defying third-person shooter for PC and console, blending expertise in interactive storytelling, cinematic action, and high production quality.

The fresh capital will be used to build its game’s MVP, featuring a polished 5–8 minute “vertical slice” that highlights core gameplay, storytelling, and visual style, and also support strategic hiring to bolster its India-based team and select global collaborators.
