What a profile holds

More than a name and a website.

Each record is built field by field, so you can judge fit and who to write to from the profile itself.

104,497 named partners with an email, across 60,262 investors.

  • 100%

    Stage focus

Which rounds they invest in, on every profile.

  • 59%

    Sector focus

Sectors they invest in, on 131,388 profiles.

  • 1,149

    Reviewed profiles

How we keep it current

Checked, then checked again.

  1. 01

    Sourced

Fund sites, filings, press and portfolio pages.

  2. 02

    Cited

Reviewed profiles keep a source link and confidence level for each field.

  3. 03

    Reviewed

Sparse or conflicting records are researched. Ones we can't confirm are removed.

  4. 04

    Re-verified

Freshness decays over time, so stale profiles go back in the queue.

Searching a database by filters still leaves you with thousands of names. AI investor search reads a short brief about your startup, such as your sector, stage, region and raise, and returns a ranked shortlist with the reason each investor fits.

What is an investor database?

An investor database is a searchable list of startup investors, such as venture capital firms, angel investors and family offices, with what they invest in (stage, sector, region) and who to contact. Founders use one to build a target list before a fundraise.

How many investors are in the Investorsync database?

221,029 investor profiles, with 104,497 partner contacts across 60,262 investors.

Is the investor database updated and active?

Yes. Profiles are sourced from fund websites, filings, press and portfolio pages, the public directory is rebuilt daily, and stale profiles go back into a review queue so the list reflects investors who are active now.

Does it cover investors in India?

Yes. It covers venture capital firms, angel investors, angel networks and sector-focused investors that invest in India, as well as the US, the UK, Southeast Asia and Europe.

Can I browse the investor database for free?

The investor directory is free to browse, with counts and sample firms for each sector, stage and region. Full lists, partner contacts and AI investor search are in the Portal for a one-time $99 (12 months of access, no subscription).

How is this different from a static investor list or PDF?

A PDF or spreadsheet is out of date the day it is shared. This database is rebuilt daily, can be filtered by stage, sector, region and investor type, and comes with AI investor search that ranks investors against your startup.
