Canid, a NYC-based healthcare tech company, has raised $10M in Series A funding, bringing total funding to $12.9M. The round was led by Telescope Partners, with participation from FJ Labs, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, SeedtoB Capital, and others.
Founded by CEO Pedro Sanchez de Lozada, Canid is transforming pediatric vaccine delivery into a simple scan-and-go workflow by automating the logistics, reporting, and reimbursement processes that make vaccine management time-consuming and financially risky for pediatricians.
By scanning a vaccine’s barcode, clinics offload the entire backend process — from inventory management and billing, to compliance reporting and patient follow-ups — to Canid’s AI-powered platform. It integrates directly with electronic health records (EHRs) and provides:
Automated logistics – ordering, billing, reporting
Guaranteed payments – no inventory risk or delays
Smart outreach – data-driven tracking to improve vaccine completion rates
As under-vaccination becomes a growing public health concern, Canid’s model delivers both clinical efficiency and population impact — one scan at a time.
