Iom Bioworks Raises ₹4 Cr to Personalize Preventive Healthcare Through the Gut Microbiome

Iom Bioworks, a deep science company using AI to decode and modulate the human gut microbiome, has raised ₹4 Cr in seed funding led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).

Founded in 2022 by Bipin Pradeep Kumar, the Bengaluru-based startup is developing an AI-driven personalized health platform that maps individual gut bacteria and delivers tailored food and prebiotic recommendations transforming gut health into a new frontier for preventive care.

The funds will be used to:

Expand scientific & commercial teams

Secure and scale IP portfolio (2 global patents granted, 2 underway)

Strengthen infrastructure & logistics

Accelerate pan-India outreach and platform growth
