Chapter Home, a home and kitchen consumer-brands company founded by former PharmEasy executives, has raised ₹63 crore through a mix of equity and debt from Bessemer Venture Partners, Stride Ventures, Tanmay Bhat and family offices. The round values the company at close to ₹1,000 crore, according to Ascendants.
The round
Chapter Home raised ₹63 crore in a round that combines equity and debt, per Ascendants and Newskart. Investors named are Bessemer Venture Partners, Stride Ventures, Tanmay Bhat (described as a content creator and investor) and other undisclosed investors. Ascendants reports that the funding values the company at close to ₹1,000 crore; Newskart says the valuation was not disclosed, so the figure rests on one outlet.
The company says it will spend the money on product development, entry into more home and kitchen categories, marketing and brand building, strengthening distribution, and setting up its first physical retail touchpoints. Available reports do not split the amount between equity and debt, or say who led.
What Chapter Home does
Chapter Home was founded in 2025 by Nitin Chugh, Akarsh Bharadwaj, Shrey Mittal, Dhiraj Jain and Dheeraj Goyal. All were previously part of the founding and leadership team at PharmEasy, Ascendants says.
The company builds several home and kitchen brands that share sourcing, supply chain, technology, content and distribution. Its first category launch is HOKIPO, an online home furnishings brand. The product range it describes includes bed and table linen, cookware, home furnishings and small kitchen appliances. Brands are sold through online marketplaces, quick-commerce platforms and its own direct-to-consumer channel, with offline retail planned.
The company says it uses AI for product cataloguing, content creation, demand forecasting, product development and customer targeting and retention. Newskart lists the competition as marketplace private labels, established kitchenware makers and direct-to-consumer home brands.
The investors
Bessemer Venture Partners and Stride Ventures are the institutional names in the round, and Bhat is an individual investor alongside several family offices. Available reports do not set out any investor's thesis in home and kitchen, so none is attributed here.
Why it matters
Chapter Home's model is to run multiple focused brands on one shared supply chain and technology stack rather than build a single brand per category. If the shared base works, each new category should cost less to launch than a standalone company; available reports do not provide figures on revenue or customers, so that remains the company's thesis rather than a demonstrated result. The company is also moving from online-only sales to its first offline presence. Related coverage: D2C funding news.
