Investors in this round.
TravClan, a Delhi-based business-to-business travel platform, has raised $5 million from Flipkart and August One, along with debt financing from Trifecta Capital. The money is meant to widen its supplier network and strengthen its technology and destination operations, and it comes shortly after Flipkart announced a minority stake in the company.
The round
TravClan raised $5 million from Flipkart and August One, plus debt financing from Trifecta Capital, according to coverage from Newskart and Indian Startup Times. Coverage is dated around 22 October 2026. One data provider, Fundz, lists Flipkart and August One as the leads; the company has not published a split between equity and debt, and the stage is not labelled as a priced equity round. No valuation has been disclosed.
Total funding to date is put at more than $11 million. The company says it will use the capital to expand its global supplier network, build AI capabilities and booking technology, and strengthen operations in destinations abroad.
Separately, Flipkart announced on 5 October 2026 that it would take a minority stake in TravClan to strengthen the international holiday offerings of Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel, according to reports indexed by search; financial terms of that stake were not disclosed.
What TravClan does
TravClan is a travel-technology platform used by travel agents to build and book holiday packages, hotels and activities. Newskart lists it as founded in 2018 by Arun Bagaria, Chirag Agrawal and Ashish Thapliyal, and it competes with online travel agencies such as MakeMyTrip, EaseMyTrip and Cleartrip.
The company says it has more than 15,000 travel agents in India on its platform and that it processes more than $100 million in annual travel sales. These are company figures that have not been independently verified. Its product is aimed at agents who sell trips to customers and need to manage bookings and services in one place.
The investors
Flipkart operates Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel, the two travel businesses that the earlier minority-stake announcement linked to TravClan. August One is the second equity investor named in the round. Trifecta Capital provided the debt financing. Available reports do not describe the investors' thesis in more detail, so none is attributed here.
Why it matters
The round connects a B2B supply platform with a large consumer commerce group's travel arms. For travel sellers, the pitch is a single system for sourcing and booking; for TravClan, a strategic investor with its own travel brands is a potential distribution and supplier-side link. Available reports contain no founder quotes or market-size figures, and the company has not disclosed revenue beyond its stated annual travel sales, so the commercial impact of the Flipkart relationship remains to be shown.
